Thanks for the post. I love my Estee Lauder Beautiful Sheer perfume -- really love it, as in I want to make out with myself when I wear it -- but know it probably isn't good for me. Luckily, living in Mississippi in the summertime has cured me of the habit, because I'm attractive enough to mosquitoes naturally without tempting them with an extra sweet fragrance. Maybe I'll spritz on a little for special occasions -- the bottle did cost me $65 or so -- but once bug season dies down, I might look for a natural alternative. Rose water, for example, smells awesome, and I can be sure that it won't give me cancer one day.

I know what you mean--the mosquitos are all over me when I use my lotion, and doesn't even have phthalates in it! We live near a river so during the summer they're always unwanted guests.

I still have my own perfumes on my dresser for old time's sake, even if I don't wear them. They're on a glass mirror my grandmother left for me and they look sort of elegant on it.
